The goal of the Weatherization Assistance Program is to improve energy efficiency for income-eligible households while assuring health and safety. Our energy auditors evaluate the home/apartment to determine what can be done to improve heating and cooling efficiency.

Applicants must be income-eligible through the LIHEAP program’s income guidelines, or by Rhode Island Energy’s basic residential rate of A-60, including homeowners or renters. A landlord must be income-eligible and live on the property of a 1-4 unit building.
